July 16th Hotel Location : Crillon Le Brave We can easily see Mont Ventoux from the hotel and this is where our ride will take us today. One option is to ride from the hotel to Bedoin, up the "Geant de Provence" and back down the same side to return to the hotel. The second one is to ride down the opposite side into Malaucene. For those who enjoy downhills, this is one is a blast! The second ride will loop around the base of the climb and return to Crillon le Brave. Think Mont Ventoux might be a bit too much of a challenge? The ride at the base of the climb is still challenging enough to be interesting without offering the challenge of the HC climb. Those who would rather not ride this morning can either enjoy a leisurely morning at our hotel, or can be taken up to the top of Mont Ventoux. On a clear day, the view is spectacular. |
