We'll see the stage arrival come into town and then transfer to our hotel in Lourdes where we'll check-in, get together over a welcome toast, do proper introductions and go over the next few day's fun and action... of course a nice dinner will follow!

Those riding will assemble bikes or get fitted once at the hotel.

July 21st
Hotel Location: Lourdes
This is the second and final rest day in the 2010 Tour de France. Lourdes is ideally located to ride a loop from and to the Hotel while going over one of the climbs twice visited on this 2010 edition of the TDF; the col du Soulor. Many of the Italian and Spanish teams like to come to Lourdes to pay a visit to the Grotto when the rest day is in the area, so we may have an opportunity to see some of them.

July 22nd
Hotel Location: Lourdes
The final mountain stage in this year's Tour is epic to say the least. The 3 categorized climbs are all arduous, but the true celebration of the 100th anniversary of the crossing of the Pyrenees will take place with the finish atop the Col du Tourmalet!

We'll be celebrating this special anniversary in our own special way; ever dreamed of riding a Tour de France stage along roads filled with spectators and raise your arms to the sky as you cross the finish-line? Today is the day it comes true!

Those who wish to ride the most on this trip will be able to go over a picturesque smaller climb before catching onto the Tour route and tackling the Col du Tourmalet. This ride distance is roughly 65km. The shorter option will leave from the hotel as well and take a bike trail before getting on course for a total ride distance of about 50km!

Custom Getaways vehicle(s) with on-course accreditation will be accompanying you and providing an extra lift if necessary, and an official Tour de France vehicle will escort us over the final few kms of the course and you will cross the finish line on closed roads.

You will then climb the official Tour podium to have your picture taken.

Those not riding will be driven over the final kms, will enjoy the excitement of the climb, climb the podium, etc.

We will then ride down part of the climb to see the race go over this same climb from our private viewing location.

See pictures of our private viewing location setup.

We'll spend one final overnight in Lourdes before heading on to the Bordeaux Wine Country tomorrow.

July 23rd
Hotel Location: Bordeaux Wine Country

True to form; while the Tour exits the Pyrenees, so will we.

We will drive over to the start of the stage and the sign-in in Salies de Bearn today.
Starts offer great opportunities for pictures and to mingle with the teams and racers warming up (autographs as well?).

In Salies de B. we will also get to experience the madness of the Publicity Caravane.

Once the race is off, we will then ride North and finish the transfer up to the Bordeaux wine region where we will spend the next 2 evenings.

July 24th
Hotel Location: Bordeaux Wine Country
This will be the last opportunity for the contenders to the Yellow jersey to make their mark on the 2010 Tour and we will be in the heart of the action. Our viewing location is perfect!

Once the stage is under way we will gain access to the exclusive VIP Izoard hospitality area located about 50-75 yards from the finish line and overlooking the course.

Here hostesses will serve drinks and snacks while you watch the live broadcast on Big Screen TV. After seeing the stage finish from this exclusive viewing area champagne will be served to celebrate the stage winner.
The Izoard bus is among the more exclusive areas at stage finishes and you should expect to see/meet plenty of Tour celebrities.

Once the stage is over, we will spend one more evening with celebratory dinner in the Wine Country.

The ride today will be determined once the stage timing has been released.

July 25th
Hotel Location: Paris
This is what every professional cyclist aspires to; the arrival of the Tour de France on the Champs-Elysees!

Who will be wearing yellow on the Champs Elysees tonight? We will find out today as we watch the arrival from our seats in the Official Grand Stands alongside the "World's most beautiful Avenue".
First however; getting to Paris!

We will be taking a bullet train from the Bordeaux region to Paris. Then a quick metro ride will have us within a short stroll of our hotel.

Once the Tour festivities are over, we will get ready for a great dining experience. This year again we will be renting an entire boat for our dinner-cruise along the Seine river. Great food and unbelievable sight-seeing of Paris by night will end our “sensory overloaded day”!!!

Our hotel is located within walking distance of the Champs Elysees, the Grand stands and the dinner cruise.
