One Day VIP experiences on the Tour de France
July 24th – July 28th, 2025 • non-cycling
The final few days of the 2025 Tour de France will feature some of France’s most iconic regions including the Alps and finish of the race in Paris! You will have VIP access at a stage start and at two stage finishes. This trip includes the final important climb in this year’s Tour, La Plagne before the finish of the Tour on the Champs Elysees. You will receive a gift from Custom Getaways.
This trip is for spectators, people who love pro-cycling and wants to experience the Tour de France up close with the best VIP access to the race, but don’t have the time for a full, final week trip. This trip features the Elysees Grandstands VIP venue for the final stage in Paris. This venue is located about 150 meters from the finish line on the Champs Elysees. We hope you can join us!
Welcome to France! We will be meeting in the lobby of our group hotel in the afternoon. Our 4-star hotel is located in Lyon, the third largest city in France. Ajacent to the hotel is the Parc de la Tête d’or and is one of the largest urban parks in Lyon.
We will do a private dinner cruise on the river and see the sights of Lyon while enjoying a great dinner in the food capitol of France.
In addition to meeting our fellow travel guests at dinner, we’ll go over the itinerary for our trip. All guests will receive a gift from Custom Getaways.
Good morning and let’s get going! After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head towards the Alps to experience the mountain-top finish on La Plagne. We will drive on the official course up to the finish area of today’s stage.
Today’s stage viewing will be in the Izoard VIP venue, located down the mountain from the finish line. TV’s are located within the Izoard venue where we will watch the racers battle and as the race passes us on the way to the finish line. This venue is a great way to see the race with snacks, beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee, water, TVs and private restrooms. Champagne will be served to toast the stage winner.
After the race, we’ll board our motor coach and transfer to our next hotel in the mountain town of Chambery. Our group dinner will be a cool experience and a short walk through the town center of Chambery.
After breakfast we will drive to the Start Village of today’s stage, located in Nantua. You will love the energy of the start at this year’s Tour de France. You will have VIP access to the Start Village with coffee, snacks, tour officials and merchandise tents. You will also be able to see the riders interviewed at the sign-in stage.
Another great feature of the start village is that you will have access to the team bus paddock. You can walk around the team busses and cars before the race begins. However, you need to be careful as the racers will ride around you to get to the sign-in stage and to the starting line…a really cool experience!
Once the racers depart, we will grab a light lunch and head to the train station in nearby Bourg en Bresse. We will all train to Paris in the afternoon and arrive a couple of hours later. You will be able to explore Paris and find a cool place for dinner with some of your new friends.
You will finally have some free time this morning to enjoy the City of Light. The hotel is ideally located in the center of Paris, just a few blocks from the famous Champs Elysees.
In the afternoon, we will meet as a group and walk to our VIP venue to view the final stage of this year’s Tour de France.
You have been upgraded to the Elysees grandstands on the Champs Elysees where you’ll feel the energy of the riders as they pass each other and the excitement of the final meters that separate them from the finish.
This VIP venue has snacks and drinks to enjoy while watching the race on TV’s before the racers arrive in Paris and pass 16 times in front of us.
Once the race finishes, you can stroll back to your hotel and enjoy the sights and sounds of Paris.
Check out of your hotel by noon or extend your stay in the City of Light. You are responsible for your transfer from the hotel.
We hope to see you again soon.
Au revoir!
